Job summary

Mashreq in Karachi is seeking a Trade Operations professional to manage sanction screening and commodity trade documents, input and authorize transactions, and prepare SWIFT messages. The role requires coordinating with the team head on ad-hoc tasks and ensuring accurate charges, with emphasis on preventing revenue leakage and avoiding reconciliation backlogs. The position is based in Karachi with no remote work indicated.

Responsibilities

• Sanction screening of relevant parties in documents.
• Handle Commodity Trade Operations documents.
• Authorize/input transactions into the system and prepare/authorize relevant SWIFT messages.
• Address ad-hoc tasks from Team Head and share knowledge gaps with line manager for customer service issues.
• Ensure no revenue leakage due to missed charges and no outstanding Nostro or internal reconciliations.

Job description

All processing should be as per SOP/OPM’s and UCP/ISBP/ISP as applicable and charges recovery to be as per the extant guidelines.
Perform sanction screening of relevant parties in documents.
Handle Commodity Trade Operations documents·
Responsible for authorizing/inputting transactions into the system and prepare/authorize relevant SWIFT messages
Ad-hoc tasks given by the Team Head
Ensure errors/knowledge gaps are shared with line manager/team to address customer service issues.
No revenue leakage due to miss out in charges collection
No outstanding reconciliation entries pending in Nostro or Internal accounts.
