Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an architect with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, contractors and team members.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning laws and other regulations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Develop project plans, budgets and timelines
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and create design solutions that meet their requirements
• Prepare detailed drawings, models and specifications using AutoCAD or Revit
• Oversee the work of junior architects and provide guidance and mentorship when needed
• Conduct site visits to ensure construction is following plans and specifications
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology and materials
• Review and approve contractor bids for construction projects
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws and other regulations
