Job summary

Mohsyn is seeking a Sr. Manager Accounting to own and scale the accounting function as the business grows. You’ll work closely with the CEO/CFO to ensure accurate financial records, robust controls, and timely reporting.

You’ll lead close cycles, manage the GL, and drive automation and process improvements across the function. You’ll coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors, oversee tax compliance, and help prepare investor-ready financials.

Qualifications

• CA Finalist from ICAP.
• 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and applicable standards.
• Month-end and year-end closing, GL management, reconciliations.
• Pakistan taxation and statutory compliance knowledge.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong communication and ownership mentality.
• Ability to operate in a primarily remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting function with accurate, complete transactions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and perform reconciliations.
• Oversee AP/AR, invoicing, collections, and expense accounting.
• Ensure revenue recognition and expense recording per standards.
• Coordinate taxation and statutory filings with advisors.
• Collaborate with auditors and prepare audit schedules and responses.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls and SOPs.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
