Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to analyze, design, and deliver end-to-end 5G Core, policy, and signalling solutions. You will translate customer needs into detailed technical offerings and manage deployments and integrations with a strong emphasis on cloud-native architectures and automation.

The role requires deep telecom domain expertise, 8+ years of experience, and hands-on work with OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering.
8+ years telecom experience in a similar role.
Deep expertise in AMF, SMF, GW-C, UPF, NRF, NSSF, PCRF, PCF, SCP, BSF, SEPP, DSC-DA/DRA/DEA.
Knowledge of 5G Core Cloud-Native Applications, Cloud Infrastructure and IP Networks.
Experience with system integration and delivering multi-customer projects.
Knowledge of Ericsson Packet Core, Policy and signalling Solutions.
Experience with OpenStack, Kubernetes and Docker.
Scripting experience in Shell and Python.

Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end design and deployment of Dual Mode 5GC and related core solutions.
Demonstrate authority in PCC, PCG, Policy Controller and signalling Controller.
Define solution scope for Packet Core, Policy, Signalling, and 5G Core offerings.
Analyze customer technology and participate in risk analysis.
Develop technical proposals and conduct customer presentations.
Lead deployment and integration activities during project delivery.
Provide feedback to R&D and participate in knowledge transfer.
