Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Cairo (Egypt) is seeking an Integration Engineer to analyze, prepare, implement, and verify the configuration and integration of Ericsson Cloud Solution on-site.

You will plan and drive product configuration, execute integration tasks, and support testing, handover, and post-project stabilization while collaborating across teams.

The role requires Linux administration, networking and storage knowledge, and a proactive, innovative mindset with willingness to travel when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, telecommunications, computer science, or IT.
• 2–5 years in private cloud deployments (IaaS/CaaS).
• Strong Linux administration and networking knowledge.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage concepts.
• Familiarity with enterprise hardware (Dell, HPE, Lenovo).
• Automation/CI-CD experience and cloud certifications are a plus.

Our Exciting Opportunity:

We are now looking for an Integration Engineer to analyze, prepare, implement, and verify the configuration and integration of Ericsson Cloud Solution. Your scope of work may include introduction, upgrades/expansions, functionality rollout, and capacity expansions.

Work conditions: This role requires on-site presence, and may require overnight work and travel based on project needs and rollout schedules.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, prepare, verify, and implement integration of Ericsson Cloud Solution
• Plan and drive product configuration and integration activities
• Execute product configuration
• Execute integration and migration activities
• Prepare and execute system testing, module testing, and acceptance testing
• Identify issues, propose improvements, and drive continuous optimization
• Support post-project activities (handover, documentation, stabilization)
• Understand the end-to-end technical solution and dependencies
• Support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies (as needed)
• Develop scripts and automation (coding as needed)
• Share knowledge and collaborate effectively within and across teams
• Be available for on-site work, overnight activities, and travel when required by project needs

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Information Technology (or a relevant field)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in private cloud deployments (IaaS/CaaS)
• Solid Linux administration skills and hands-on practice
• Good understanding of networking concepts (L2/L3, routing, switching)
• Good understanding of storage concepts (SAN/NAS, block/object storage)
• Familiarity with 3PP hardware (e.g., Dell, HPE, Lenovo)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to continuously learn and adapt
• Creativity and innovation mindset
• Ability to apply expertise and technology to deliver outcomes
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Deliver results and meet customer expectations
• Excellent planning and organizing skills

Additional Requirements:

• Automation and CI/CD pipeline experience
• Public cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• IP networking certification and experience (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)
