• Arrange testing/inspection of materials prior to installation to minimize non-conformance.
• Verify quantities as per BOQs for billing purposes.
• Communicate with dealers, designers and retail team for timely completion.
• Prepare and monitor project plans and submit progress reports to management.
• Manage design changes and notify relevant parties of changes.
• Ensure site safety and legal compliance; keep projects on time and within budget.
• Record-keeping of all site activities and frequent dealer site visits.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring construction sites under development and existing retail locations maintain high standards of safety, quality, and timely completion. The role demands strong oversight of civil works related to maintenance activities, ensuring the operational readiness and structural integrity of retail outlets. This position requires coordination with multiple stakeholders and vendors for smooth project execution. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in civil engineering within retail or similar infrastructure projects. This individual must expertly handle project management tasks, vendor relations, and cross-functional collaboration, while performing detailed Bill of Quantities preparation and handling Request for Quotations. The Executive Retail Engineering role demands a hands‑on approach to ensure construction compliance, quality control, and efficient resource management, keeping retail infrastructure aligned with company standards and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Frequent visiting dealer site for smooth execution as per approved drawings.
• Provide support to engineering maintenance team on civil related complaints and ensure timely closure of complaints. The scope includes quality assurance and ensuring timely payment to the contractors.
