Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking an Engineering Graduate (Civil preferred) with at least 2 years of relevant experience to supervise and coordinate civil-related works at offices and staff residences. The role supports design, construction and project management while ensuring timely completion and environmental considerations.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate preferably Civil with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to manage civil, painting, carpentry and plumbing work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil, painting, carpentry and plumbing work at offices and staff residences.
• Support civil work in design, construction and management of projects and survey sites; arrange soil/rock sample analysis.
• Assist in preparing scopes, expenditures authorizations, cost estimates and proposals for new/modifications of office premises.
• Assist in preparation of layouts for expansion and rehabilitation and detailed building plans.
• List materials required and calculate amounts, costs and requisition materials/components.
• Coordinate subordinate staff for civil and related work.
• Ensure work is carried out according to deadlines.
• Suggest measures to reduce environmental impact of projects.
• Comply with risk management framework and participate in risk activities.
• Identify, report and manage key risks; receive risk management training.
• Perform other tasks assigned by senior management.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure effective completion of civil, painting, carpentry and plumbing work at offices and staff residency
• Providing support to civil work in the design, construction and management of a variety of projects and survey sites and arranging for soil and rock samples to be analyzed
• Assist in preparing scopes, authorization for expenditures, cost estimates and proposals for all new & modifications of office & resident premises.
• Assist in preparation of lay out based upon desired expansion and rehabilitation and preparing detailed building plans
• List out the materials require according to work plan and calculate the amount and type of materials needed and capital needed and requisition of materials & components requires for its implementation
• Manage & arrange subordinate staff for civil and related work.
• Ensuring work is carried out according to deadlines
• Develop suggestions to reducing a project’s impact on the environment
• Comply with the risk management framework.
• Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
• Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded and managed in a timely manner.
• Receive appropriate training in risk management.
• Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
