Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to join our remote team. You will review and track medical treatments, manage records and affidavits, and verify accuracy with providers to obtain status updates. You will report weekly and assist with subrogation liens while handling a 30-40 case caseload.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing codes, and medical records management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and track medical treatments across all stages of the treatment lifecycle.
• Request and obtain medical and billing records, affidavits, efficiently.
• Verify record accuracy for completeness and efficiency.
• Proactively contact providers' records/billing departments for updates.
• Provide weekly status updates on records and affidavits.
• Research and manage subrogation liens, including Medicaid/Medicare and hospital liens.
• Caseload management for 30-40 active cases, with growth potential.
• Assist Case Manager in confirming client treatment per referrals.
