Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) to join our remote team. You'll review and track medical treatments, manage medical and billing records, verify accuracy, and communicate with providers to obtain status updates.

This role supports a caseload of 30–40 active cases, with an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Central Time schedule. We value initiative, organization, and attention to detail, and offer a collaborative, home-based environment with growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degrees preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical assistant, medical office, or healthcare-related role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing codes, and medical records management preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Review and track medical treatment throughout the treatment lifecycle.
• Request and obtain medical and billing records, along with affidavits.
• Verify record accuracy and completeness.
• Proactively contact medical providers and records/billing departments for status updates, primarily via phone calls.
• Provide weekly status updates to the firm’s systems.
• Research and manage subrogation liens, including Medicaid/Medicare and hospital liens.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of 30-40 active cases and scale as needed.
• Assist the Case Manager in confirming clients have received required medical treatment per referrals.
