Job summary

The Talentorium is seeking a senior Creative Lead to own the organic content strategy and lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, motion designers, and video editors. This hands-on leadership role requires initiating concepts, directing briefs, and shaping what to create for social channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in creative direction, social creative, content, design, video, or related field.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Strong portfolio of social-first work across design, motion, and video.
• Strong creative judgment, with the ability to explain why something works or doesn't.
• Experience developing original concepts, not only executing briefs.
• Strong understanding of how creative needs to change across Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other channels.
• Strong familiarity with generative AI and the current AI creative ecosystem, including experience using or directing work made with AI image and video tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with high creative output.
• Comfortable working Pacific Time hours, online and available 10am to 3pm PT for close collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of designers, motion designers, video editors, and other creative contributors.
• Own creative direction and quality across organic social channels.
• Develop original concepts for product launches, announcements, events, brand moments, and recurring series.
• Turn ideas into clear briefs, scripts, storyboards, and references the team can execute.
• Give clear, actionable feedback on design, motion, video editing, storytelling, pacing, typography, and composition.
• Research competitors and creative trends across AI, tech, creator, and entertainment brands, and identify new formats worth testing.
• Build repeatable creative formats and systems that allow high-quality content at a fast pace.
• Coach the creative team through regular feedback and clear expectations.
