Job summary

OpenArt is seeking a Creative Lead, Organic & Social to own the creative direction of our organic content and lead a team of visual designers, motion designers, video editors, and other contributors.

You’ll collaborate with the social, community, product marketing, and broader marketing teams to decide what we should create and ensure high-quality output across Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in creative direction, social content, design, or related field.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Strong portfolio of social-first work across design, motion, and video.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage our team of visual designers, motion designers, video editors, and other contributors.
• Own creative direction and quality across OpenArt's organic social channels.
• Develop original concepts for product launches, social content, announcements, events, and brand moments.
• Turn ideas into clear briefs, scripts, storyboards, and directions for execution.
• Provide actionable feedback on design, motion, video, pacing, typography, and composition.
• Collaborate with social and marketing teams to translate content needs into strong creative.
• Research competitors and creative trends to inform original ideas.
• Identify new formats and visual styles to test; build repeatable formats for speed.
• Maintain high creative standards while enabling experimentation.
• Prioritize projects and guide them from concept to delivery; coach the team.
