Job summary

Mashreqbank PSC is seeking an Operations professional to handle remittances, clearing and fund transfers. You will ensure transactions comply with regulations and turnaround times, while coordinating with internal teams and correspondent banks.

The role demands accuracy, strong communication, and adaptability to shifting work requirements. Key responsibilities include processing NSTP remittances, RTGS payments, cash and cheque settlements, regulatory reporting, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Processing remittance transactions with accuracy within TAT and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
• Understanding of data models and banking regulations to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process foreign remittances NSTP cases (inward & outward) and payments received via RTGS within standard TAT.
• Process inward clearing cheques & funds transfers with accuracy per SOPs.
• Ensure timely settlement of GLs for cash & cheque deposits and reconciliations with internal teams and partner banks.
• Coordinate with local and foreign correspondent banks for payment tracking and query resolution.
• Screen transactions against sanction lists and escalate flagged cases to Compliance promptly.
• Participate in system upgrades and payment platform UAT providing operational feedback.
• Attend inquiries/complaints promptly and resolve within the specified TAT.
• Maintain error-free service by minimizing incidents and being flexible for shift work.
