Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) in Gilgit seeks a Regional Executive - Credit (AVP/VP) to lead the regional credit function within Risk Management. The role reports to the Credit Hub Head and oversees SME, Commercial, and agricultural credit proposals while ensuring policy compliance and robust risk controls.

The position requires strong leadership, credit risk assessment, and knowledge of SBP regulations, with a proven track record in banking credit management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university/HEC.
• Masters degree and/or related certifications preferred.
• Minimum 6 years banking experience with at least 4 years in SME/Commercial risk management.

Responsibilities

• Exercise credit approval authority for SME, Commercial and Agriculture proposals.
• Manage a regional team of credit officers.
• Assist and support Credit Hub Head with reviews, assessments and monitoring.
• Liaise with business, CAD, and audit at regional level.
• Address audit observations and ensure compliance with policies.
