Qualifications

• Bachelor/MBA/M.Com./MSc in Accounting/Finance/CA/ACCA/CBA from a recognized local/foreign university.
• Professional certifications such as CIA/CICA/CISA or equivalent preferred.
• 9–12 years of experience in Internal Audit, with at least 3 years in the Internal Audit Group of a commercial bank.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Operational Audit in annual planning of the operational audit plan.
• Perform Audit Engagement Planning and Sampling Matrix for each audit assignment using OBIEE reports.
• Allocate resources based on risk profile and oversee engagement performance within budgeted people-days.
• Monitor staffing requirements and schedules for optimal utilization of audit resources.
• Ensure pre-release quality of Audit Reports, Rating Models, Management Letters and working papers.
• Calculate audit rating and recommend to HOA for review.
• Review policies and procedures to ensure regulatory alignment and applicable laws.
• Suggest updates to Audit Checklists/Manual as procedures evolve.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Reporting Packages for line management.
