Job summary

PwC International in Pakistan seeks a Manager to lead day-to-day audit engagements for financial services clients, including banks and asset managers. You will plan, execute and report, ensuring high quality, technology-enabled audits in line with PwC methodology and local regulations.

The role requires three-plus years post-qualification experience, strong IFRS/ISA knowledge, and proven leadership in client management and engagement delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong IFRS/ISA knowledge with practical application.
• Understanding of financial services regulations and governance.
• Ability to analyse complex transactions and form practical conclusions.
• Excellent engagement management, leadership and client handling.
• Proficiency in audit technology, data analytics and MS Office; PwC tools advantageous.
• Ability to manage concurrent engagements and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Develop understanding of client business models, systems and risks.
• Assess significant risks, estimates and judgments across engagements.
• Lead testing of controls and coordinate with specialists as needed.
• Ensure documentation supports conclusions and audit opinions.
• Provide coaching and reviews to junior staff; support business development.
