Job summary

Mashreq Bank PSC is seeking an Ops Risk Manager to lead the RCSA program within its Operational Risk Management Team. The role focuses on enhancing the RCSA program, ORM framework, and related training and communications, ensuring risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.

The successful candidate will drive consistent application of ORM guidelines across multiple business lines, overseeing methodology, reporting, and governance, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Risk Management or applicable line of business (e.g., compliance, testing and monitoring, or audit).
• Familiarity with the banking industry regulatory and risk management requirements.
• Knowledge of common risk management framework and methodologies.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and execute the RCSA with annual refresh and trigger-based cycles.
• Identify and design process improvements considering enterprise initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders to enable the RCSA lifecycle and share lessons learned.
• Implement processes and procedures to support the RCSA delivery and oversight.
• Utilize risk metrics and reporting to provide a holistic independent view of risks and challenge ORM-related decisions.
• Oversee RCSA methodology and procedure documents and communicate with stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings with business lines and enterprise functions to advise on RCSA changes.
• Execute a change management strategy for RCSA including communications and training.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Enterprise and Operational Risk guidelines.
• Lead the Quality Assurance Review Process for the RCSA Program.
• Monitor deficiencies and remediation to ensure timely closure of findings.
• Administer PRISM/GRC tools as they relate to the RCSA.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
