Job summary

JazzWorld is seeking a Specialist RAN Operations in Islamabad to provide 24x7 back-office support for field teams, ensuring optimal RAN performance and service quality. You will execute end-to-end RAN configuration changes across BSC/BTS/Cell/TRX, and coordinate with the Manager RAN Operations.

The role requires 2–3 years of Huawei/ZTE RAN experience, a BE in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom/Computer, and flexibility for a 24x7 roster. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

2-3 years of hands-on experience on Huawei/ZTE RAN configuration.
Bachelor level engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom/Computer.
Willing to work in a 24x7 roster duty.
Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Parameter configuration & Tuning (BSC, BTS, Cell & TRX) in Huawei/ZTE network.
BSC & BTS rehoming, SGSN shifting & addition, software, patch & license upgrades.
New site creation, hard/soft expansion & dual carrier configuration.
Junk DB deletion in EMS.
Network blocking as per PTA directives.
Alarm standardization in network.
Special event configuration & performance handling (Eid & congregation).
Data base exports & inventory management.
Level-II support to field team for outages & degradation.
Daily KPI analysis & trouble shooting.
Degradation analysis & rectification of issues.
Controllers’ redundancy assurance.
Controllers’ alarms & event analysis & fix.
Network hardware & license audits & backups.
Physical inspections and preventive maintenance of controllers.
