Job summary

Zameen Group is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control and quantity management for high-rise project works in Lahore. You will prepare BOQs, verify measurements, and ensure IPCs align with design drawings and contractual requirements.

Ideal candidates bring a DAE/B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical, and at least 10 years of MEP QS experience on large-scale developments, with a proven track record in cost optimization and collaboration with design, procurement, and site

Qualifications

• DAE/B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 10 years of proven MEP QS experience on large high-rise projects.
• Experience verifying IPCs and conducting cost control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify MEP BOQs before tender processes.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Carry out project cost estimation specific to MEP disciplines.
• Review and verify technical specifications of MEP works against design drawings and standards.
• Evaluate and certify Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) ensuring compliance with MEP drawings and site progress.
• Conduct onsite inspections to validate completed works and report discrepancies.
• Provide recommendations for cost optimization and value engineering in MEP systems.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams for accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure all MEP works are in line with contractual obligations and industry standards.
• Prepare material calculation sheets and material demand according to site and drawings.
