Job summary

Zameen Media Pvt. Ltd. in Lahore invites an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to drive cost estimation, prepare and verify MEP BOQs, and certify IPCs for large-scale high-rise developments.

This role requires taking-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works, reviewing specifications against drawings, and coordinating with design, procurement and on-site teams to ensure value engineering and contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: DAE / B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
• Minimum 10 years of proven MEP Quantity Surveying experience on large-scale high-rise projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify MEP BOQs (Bills of Quantities) before tender processes.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Carry out project cost estimation specific to MEP disciplines.
• Review and verify technical specifications of MEP works against design drawings and standards.
• Evaluate and certify Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), ensuring compliance with approved MEP drawings and site progress.
• Conduct onsite inspections to validate completed works and report discrepancies.
• Provide recommendations for cost optimization and value engineering in MEP systems.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams for accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure all MEP works are in line with contractual obligations and industry standards.
• Prepare the material calculation sheets and material demand according to site and Drawings.
