Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, guiding, and preparing patients for consultation or minor procedures.
• Help patients to sit, lie down, or move safely within the clinic area, especially elderly or disabled patients.
• Ensure that patients’ privacy, dignity, and safety are maintained at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of consultation rooms, waiting areas etc.
• Ensure disinfection of equipment, examination couches, and instruments after every patient.
• Assist in arranging patient files, prescriptions, and reports for consultation.
• Help in transporting laboratory samples or medical supplies between OPD and other departments when needed.
• Report any damaged equipment or safety hazards to the Nursing In-Charge immediately.
• Ensure availability of consumables gloves, drapes, disinfectants, etc. and report shortages in time.
• Any other task assigned by the competent authority
