Job summary

Thingtrax Ltd. is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Engineer in Pakistan to strengthen our IIoT testing efforts on web and mobile apps. You will drive UI and API test automation, reduce regression cycles, and ensure product quality from requirements through release.

The role requires hands-on testing across UI, API, and automated regression, with experience in Postman and Selenium. Collaboration with developers and product teams is essential in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience in software testing.
• Hands-on testing of web and mobile applications.
• Strong API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• UI automation using Selenium or similar tools.
• Experience with API test automation and automated regression suites.
• Knowledge of SDLC, QA strategy, defect lifecycle and release management.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and Jira or similar tracking tools.
• Ability to write and run SQL queries for data validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute and maintain test cases for web and mobile apps.
• Perform UI and API testing and automate to improve coverage.
• Test APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Review SRS and process models to identify testing needs.
• Carry out Functional, Integration, System, Regression and other testing types.
• Test client/server applications across relevant platforms.
• Document, track and verify defects through the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality.
• Contribute to QA/test strategy, releases and continuous improvement.
