Job summary

Thingtrax is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing tech hub in Pakistan. You will contribute to the development and delivery of IIoT solutions by designing and executing test plans for web and mobile applications, with a hands-on emphasis on UI and API automation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of QA experience, strong SQL skills, and a solid grasp of Agile/Scrum; you will work with developers and product teams to improve product quality and reduce regression cycles, using

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/CE or related field.
3+ years QA/Software Testing experience.
Experience testing web and mobile apps.
UI automation with Selenium.
API testing with Postman.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases for web and mobile-based applications.
Perform UI and API testing, including automated testing to improve test coverage and reduce regression cycle times.
Test APIs using Postman or similar API testing tools.
Participate in specification reviews, test planning, test case creation and execution, defect reporting, and defect verification.
Review SRS documents and process models to identify testing requirements and gaps.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, Compatibility, Regression, Smoke/Sanity, and Ad-hoc Testing.
Test client/server applications across platforms and environments.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
Participate in QA/Test strategy, release management, and CI/CD integration.
