Job summary

Contour Software invites a skilled SQA Analyst to join the KxEngage product team. You will work on a Flutter-based mobile, web, and staff-portal platform used by universities and student housing providers across the UK and North America.

You will own automated tests using Playwright/TypeScript, perform manual testing on release candidates, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality across multi-tenant, multi-region deployments including bilingual content.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related discipline.
3–5 years of manual and automated software testing experience.
Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.
Experience using AI coding assistants (Claude, Claude Code, Copilot) in QA work.
Strong Playwright and TypeScript skills; familiarity with Selenium or Cypress is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own and extend our Playwright/TypeScript automation suite across multiple platforms.
Build and maintain two-tier smoke architecture with daily runs.
Write API-level tests against AWS Lambda and REST endpoints; include contract tests.
Use AI coding assistants to generate, extend, and maintain tests and data.
