Contour Software, a UK-based CSI affiliate, seeks an SQA Analyst to join the Kinetic Solutions team in Karachi/Lahore. The role focuses on automated and manual testing for the KxEngage platform used by universities and student accommodations across UK and US.

You will extend the Playwright/TypeScript suite, write API tests, and leverage AI tools to generate test data and cases. You will collaborate with developers in a small team, perform real-device testing on Flutter apps, and ensure QA across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts, as well as analysing and reporting test results.
• Demonstrable experience using AI coding assistants (Claude, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or equivalent) as part of day-to-day QA work.

Responsibilities

• Own and extend our Playwright/TypeScript automation suite across multiple platforms.
• Build and maintain two-tier smoke architecture: fast merge-suite and daily extended suite.
• Write and maintain API-level tests against AWS Lambda backend and REST endpoints.
• Use AI coding assistants to generate, extend and maintain test cases, scripts and data.
• Manual and exploratory testing of Flutter iOS/Android apps and web builds.
• Test data and environment management with disposable tenants and anonymised datasets.
