Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Python SRE Production Support Engineer in Hyderabad to join our operations team. You will provide Python-based production support for critical applications and lead incident response, RCA, and permanent fixes.

The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of IT experience with hands-on Python, SRE practices, on-call rotations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and performance of platforms.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of IT experience in production support or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Python-based production support and SRE activities.
• Exposure to incident management and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications and platforms.
• Develop and maintain Python automation scripts to reduce manual tasks.
• Monitor health using enterprise monitoring tools and respond to incidents within SLA timelines.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams for issue resolution.
• Manage deployments, releases, and environment support activities.
• Improve reliability, performance and availability using SRE best practices.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and support documentation.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management.
