Accelerec Ltd. in Lahore (Izmir Office) is looking for a Purchase Assistant - Raw Material to ensure cost-effective and timely supply of essential materials. This permanent role supports procurement, supplier onboarding, RFQ processes, and close collaboration with inventory and other internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in raw material procurement, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in raw material procurement.
• Bachelor's in Business Administration, SCM or Commerce.
• Proficient with ERP systems for procurement.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience with RFQs and PO processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end raw material procurement from requisition to delivery.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; manage existing ones.
• Conduct RFQ processes, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices.
• Process purchase orders accurately and verify invoices.
• Coordinate with inventory to optimize stock and assist planning.
• Track deliveries and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.

Join our dynamic team in Izmir Office, Lahore as a Purchase Assistant - Raw Material, a crucial role focused on ensuring the consistent and cost-effective supply of essential materials. This is a permanent opportunity to significantly contribute to our operational efficiency and supply chain excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end raw material procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely availability.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, fostering strong vendor relationships and managing existing ones effectively.
• Conduct thorough RFQ processes, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices to achieve cost-effective sourcing.
• Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, and meticulously verify invoices against received goods and purchase orders.
• Coordinate closely with inventory teams to optimize stock levels and support procurement planning initiatives.
• Track deliveries diligently and collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or delays.
• Support cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and effective vendor management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in raw material procurement.
• A relevant qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce.
• Proficiency in using an ERP system for procurement-related tasks.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and comparative statement preparation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Proven ability in supplier sourcing, vendor management, RFQ management, price negotiation, and purchase order processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scrap procurement.
• Familiarity with material inspection processes.
• Knowledge of budget preparation for procurement activities.
• Fluency in English and Urdu.
