Job summary

Mohtaram is seeking a production coordinator to oversee bespoke apparel orders, ensuring dates, materials and gate sign-offs align with client expectations.

You will open job cards, issue fabrics, plan the workroom and tailor schedules, and perform quality checks at each gate. Strong Urdu and English communication with tailors and clients is essential. Proficiency with Google Sheets and project boards like ClickUp and Zoho is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in apparel production, merchandising or tailoring.
• Knowledge of garment construction, tech packs and fabric consumption.
• Organised and precise; dates and records must be kept.
• Fluent in Urdu and English; clear communication with tailors and clients.
• Comfortable with Google Sheets and project boards (we use ClickUp and Zoho).

Responsibilities

• Open a job card for each bespoke order and maintain dates, materials and stage sign-offs.
• Issue fabric and trims and reconcile metres issued vs used at closure.
• Plan workroom and tailor schedule to hit promised delivery dates.
• Run quality control at each gate, independently of the maker.
• Brief tailors and vendors, chase delays early and escalate any threats to dates the same day.
• Maintain the production board and report weekly production numbers.

Our bespoke and made-to-measure business is growing, and every order now follows one route — from the counter to the cutting table to the client — through four quality gates. You will run that route day to day: job cards, materials, dates and quality, so that every piece is as good as our best piece.

What you will do

• Open a job card for every bespoke and made-to-measure order and keep its dates, materials and stage sign-offs current
• Issue fabric and trims against each job, and reconcile metres issued against metres used when the job closes
• Plan the workroom and outside-tailor schedule so fittings and deliveries land on the promised date
• Run quality control at each gate, independently of the person who made the garment
• Brief tailors and vendors in writing, chase delays early and **escalate** anything that threatens a date the same day
• Keep the production board accurate every day and report the week's production numbers

What you will bring

• Organised and precise: dates are said and kept, and nothing is missed silently
