Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Deposits Product Manager to drive the end-to-end strategy and growth of the bank's deposit portfolio. You will craft innovative propositions, optimize balance sheet performance, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating across Marketing, Risk, Operations and Technology teams.

The role focuses on delivering customer-centric deposit solutions, pricing strategy, and governance to sustain profitable growth in Wealth & Retail Banking markets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of banking experience with wealth management or private banking focus.
• Experience in deposits product management is preferred.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Understanding of product governance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the deposits product strategy aligned with Wealth & Retail objectives.
• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle: design, pricing, commercialization, retirement.
• Drive deposit growth, profitability, and balance sheet optimization.
• Design customer value propositions for different segments.
• Identify market trends and opportunities for deposit solutions.
• Monitor performance and portfolio metrics to drive data-led decisions.

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end strategy, growth, profitability, and management of the Bank's Deposits product portfolio. The incumbent will develop innovative deposit propositions, enhance customer value, optimize balance sheet performance, and deliver sustainable business growth while ensuring regulatory compliance, strong governance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the deposits product strategy in line with the Bank's Wealth & Retail Banking objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including product design, enhancement, pricing, commercialization, and retirement.
• Drive deposit growth, portfolio profitability, and balance sheet optimization through effective product management.
• Design and implement compelling customer value propositions tailored to different customer segments.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to introduce innovative deposit solutions.
• Monitor product performance, customer behavior, and portfolio metrics to drive data-led decisions and improvements.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Segments, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Transformation teams to deliver product initiatives and customer-centric solutions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, product governance standards, and risk management frameworks.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and enhance customer journeys across deposit products and channels.

Skills and Experience

• Preferrably 4+ years of experience in banking especially in wealth managementor private banking function.
• Experience in Deposits Product Management is preferred
