Role Description

The Pricing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Karachi Division. The position is responsible for preparing and updating freight rates and pricing proposals for ocean, air, and road shipments, including special categories such as high and heavy cargo, dangerous goods, and project logistics. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing carrier tariffs, vendor quotations, and market trends; coordinating with sales and operations teams to provide competitive and accurate quotes; and maintaining pricing databases and records. The role involves evaluating profitability, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring that pricing complies with company policies and industry regulations. The Pricing Executive will regularly communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, respond to rate inquiries, and support timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret tariffs, cost structures, and profitability reports.
• Knowledge of logistics and freight operations, including ocean, air, and road transport; familiarity with dangerous goods, project logistics, and transit transportation is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software for data analysis, rate calculation, and reporting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with sales, operations, vendors, and customers.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple pricing requests under time constraints.
• Ability to work on-site in Karachi Division and collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
• Previous experience in pricing, sales support, or operations within logistics or freight forwarding is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
