Job summary

leading-edge is seeking a motivated Freight Pricing Associate for the night shift in Karachi to join its logistics team. You will develop and maintain competitive freight pricing, negotiate with carriers, and coordinate quotations with internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in freight forwarding or logistics, a Masters in Finance or Business, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and pricing tools.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Finance, Business, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with pricing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain competitive freight pricing based on carrier rates and market trends.
• Coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams for accurate quotations.
• Analyse shipment costs and identify pricing efficiencies.
• Maintain pricing databases and support client proposals.
• Communicate with overseas partners to ensure high-quality service standards.
• Identify new sales opportunities and upsell/cross-sell services to existing clients.
