Qualificações

Deputy Manager / Manager – Pretreatment

Role Description

Sadiq Interlinings is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager / Manager to oversee textile pretreatment operations at our Gujranwala facility. The role involves managing daily processes, maintaining consistent fabric quality and supervising production teams.

The Pretreatment Manager / Deputy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Sadiq Interlinings facility in Gujranwala. This role is responsible for overseeing pretreatment operations for fusible interlining production, including monitoring chemical preparation, process parameters, and machine performance to ensure consistent quality and compliance with standards. The individual will manage production planning for the pretreatment section, coordinate with quality control and maintenance teams, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Daily responsibilities include supervising pretreatment staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, maintaining accurate production and process records, and troubleshooting operational issues. The role also involves collaborating with senior management on technical projects, supporting audits and certifications, and training team members on updated procedures and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Singeing, Desizing, Scouring and Bleaching operations.
• Plan daily activities and coordinate with production teams to meet operational targets.
• Monitor process parameters, chemical usage and fabric quality.
• Identify and resolve process issues in coordination with quality and maintenance teams.
• Supervise and guide operators to maintain efficient and safe working practices.
• Maintain accurate process and production records.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8–9 years of relevant experience in textile pretreatment.
• A degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of pretreatment processes and process control.
• Demonstrated experience in team supervision and operational management.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination and communication skills.
• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of textile pretreatment processes, chemical handling, and fabric finishing operations.
• Candidates should possess skills in production planning, workflow optimization, and resource management within a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates should possess abilities in quality control, process monitoring, and data-driven problem solving.
• Candidates should possess leadership skills, including team supervision, training, performance monitoring, and cross-functional coordination.
• Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to document processes, reports, and operational records accurately.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field are preferred.
• Prior experience in textile or interlinings manufacturing, especially in pretreatment or finishing departments, will be highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with OEKO TEX or similar standards, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Lean) is an advantage.
