Job summary

Lucky Core Industries is seeking a dynamic Manager – Budgeting, Reporting & Plant Controlling for its Polyester division in Lahore. You will lead budgeting, performance reporting, and plant financial performance, partnering with Sales, Supply Chain and Production to drive growth and cost optimization.

You will analyze variances, ensure accurate monthly accounts, support rolling forecasts, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes while upholding governance and controls.

Qualifications

• CA Qualified and professional accounting certification.
• 4–7 years in budgeting, reporting, FP&A or plant controlling in manufacturing.
• Experience in polyester/chemicals/textiles or process manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting for the Polyester plant and align with business plans.
• Provide financial insights with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production.
• Perform variance analysis and propose corrective actions.
• Review monthly management accounts and ensure timely reporting.
• Support rolling forecasts and business performance analysis.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially focused Manager – Budgeting, Reporting & Plant Controlling to join our Polyester business in Lahore. This role will drive financial planning, performance reporting, and plant controlling while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process for the Polyester manufacturing plant, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational plans.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Perform detailed variance analysis of actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key business drivers and recommending corrective actions.
• Review monthly management accounts and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and preparation of reporting schedules.
• Support rolling forecasts, financial planning, and business performance analysis to facilitate effective decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze energy consumption, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
• Manage working capital planning, forecasting, and actual performance analysis to improve cash flow and liquidity.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and compliance with company policies and reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and decision-support capabilities.

Qualifications

• CA Qualified.
• 4–7 years of progressive experience in budgeting, reporting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or plant controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the polyester, chemicals, textiles, or other process manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, budgeting, and business partnering skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
