House of Habib seeks a Director of Plant Engineering and Maintenance in Karachi to lead engineering and maintenance operations, driving reliability and safety across the plant.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience, proven leadership, and expertise in TPM/Kaizen and SAP Plant Maintenance to optimize costs and uptime.

• Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in maintenance management, cost optimization and continuous improvement.

Mansioni

• Lead and oversee a team of five engineering and maintenance professionals, setting priorities, performance objectives, and maintenance standards.
• Develop and implement plant-wide maintenance strategies covering preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Oversee root cause analysis (RCA/RCCA) of equipment failures and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage maintenance budgets, cost optimization, spare parts planning, and contractor performance.
• Ensure machinery reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with ISO, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Oversee machinery installation, commissioning, and calibration to ensure operational readiness and compliance with design specifications.
• Drive effective utilization of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for maintenance planning, scheduling, tracking, and performance monitoring.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives through TPM, Kaizen, and 5S to enhance productivity and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and safety leadership to align maintenance strategies with plant objectives.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, analyse performance trends, and present reports and improvement plans to senior management.
