Job summary

GSK is seeking a Lab Analyst to ensure quality compliance across raw materials, in-process and finished products, including stability testing. You will coordinate GMP adherence, contribute to validation programs and support documentation updates.

The role requires a bachelor’s in chemistry or related field and 1–2 years in a pharma QC lab, with hands-on instrument experience and a proactive approach to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical QC lab or regulated environment.
• Understanding of GMP/GLP principles and analytical techniques.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and stability/validation testing.
• Willing to learn LIMS/SAP and instrument software.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyse samples of finished product, intermediate, raw materials and stability to enable timely release.
• Perform routine & non-routine testing, interpret results and address OOS/OOT per GMP procedures.
• Support Stability Programme management, data review and stability records.
• Maintain inventory and proper handling of reference standards and control materials.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, GLP and lab safety; participate in EHS activities and risk assessments.
• Contribute to testing of new products and method verification/validation.
• Deliver OJT/GMP training and maintain training compliance.
• Assist in SOPs, testing standards and method updates to stay compliant.
• Use LIMS, SAP and instrument software for data entry and reporting.
• Manage destruction of analysed materials and hazardous waste per GMP/EHS requirements.
• Perform other tasks to support quality objectives.
