Job summary

GSK in Pakistan is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee dispensing and production operations, ensuring daily schedules are met and on-time delivery.

The role involves coaching technicians, maintaining production records, coordinating maintenance with engineering, and ensuring GMP, EHS, and quality systems compliance.

The ideal candidate has Pharm-D or BSc, 2–3 years of GMP manufacturing experience, and hands-on knowledge of SAP and batch records.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharm-D, BSc or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in manufacturing, dispensing or packaging operations.
• Experience in GMP environment.
• Experience with production documentation, batch records, inventory transactions; familiarity with SAP or similar systems; basic MS Office.
• Understanding of EHS principles and safe working practices.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in production.
• Experience with tablet, capsule manufacturing operations.
• Strong problem-solving and Lean/Kaizen mindset.
• Knowledge of QMS and deviation handling.
• Good written and verbal English and local languages.
• On-site full-time at manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dispensing and production operations to meet daily schedules and on-time delivery.
• Coach and develop production technicians, including training on SOPs and batch record management.
• Maintain accurate production records, perform in-process checks and complete system postings such as SAP.
• Coordinate with engineering for preventive and corrective maintenance and lead resolution of equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, site quality systems and EHS requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to raise efficiency, equipment reliability and product quality.
