Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related discipline (required).
• 1-2 years' experience in pharmaceutical QC laboratory or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of GMP/GLP principles.
• Hands-on with analytical instruments and stability/validation testing.
• Experience with LIMS/SAP and instrument software is a plus.
• Strong documentation and data integrity practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyse representative samples of finished product, intermediate product, raw materials, stability and trace/CLV to enable timely release by Lab Operations.
• Perform routine and non-routine testing, including stability and validation samples, interpret results and elevate OOS/OOT in line with GMP and site procedures.
• Support the management of the Stability Programme, ensuring on-time testing, data review and maintenance of stability records.
• Maintain inventory, proper handling, labelling and disposition of reference standards and control materials, including management after expiry as per SOPs.
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, GLP and laboratory safety requirements; actively participate in EHS activities, risk assessments and continuous safety improvements.
• Contribute to testing of new products and product development samples, including method verification/validation where required.
• Participate in and deliver mandatory OJT / GMP training; maintain personal training compliance.
• Support preparation, review and revision of SOPs, testing standards and methods to ensure documents remain current and compliant with GMP.
• Use standard computer software and laboratory informatics systems (e.g. LIMS, SAP, instrument software) for data entry, reporting and instrument operation.
• Manage destruction of analysed product materials and hazardous chemical waste in line with EHS and GMP requirements.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by line management in support of business and quality objectives.

Job Purpose

The Lab Analyst will ensure Quality Compliance of Products / Materials at various stages of testing (including raw material, intermediate and finished product & stability testing) to fulfill regulatory and GMP/GLP requirements, coordinate for the fulfillment of GMP compliance and various quality requirements as per GQMPs and GQPs and manage the product validation program in line with GMP requirements.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Minimum bachelor's in applied chemistry, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of Experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory or similar regulated environment.
• Fundamental understanding of pharmaceutical quality control, analytical techniques and GMP/GLP principles.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and stability/validation testing.
• Familiarity with EHS requirements for laboratory operations and hazardous waste management.
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to contribute to SOP/method updates and quality initiatives.
• Good proficiency in standard computer applications; willingness to learn and use LIMS/SAP and instrument software.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
