Job summary

Memaar Building Systems FZC seeks an enthusiastic Oracle Technical Developer to design, develop, customize, and support Oracle applications to meet business needs. You will work closely with functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions using EBS, RICE, PL/SQL, and OA Framework.

The role requires strong technical expertise in Oracle ERP modules and data integration, with a focus on performance, security, and documentation. 5+ years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Applications with proven technical skills.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Oracle Technical Developer to join our team!

You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle applications to meet business needs. You’ll collaborate closely with functional teams and bring strong technical expertise to drive impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (RICE).
• Develop and customize PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Create and maintain Oracle Discoverer reports, Oracle Workflow, and OA Framework extensions.

2. Integration & Data Management

• Develop and manage integrations between Oracle ERP and other enterprise applications using API, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Middleware tools.
• Support data migration, conversion, and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all Oracle environments.

3. System Support & Optimization

• Provide technical support for Oracle ERP modules such as Finance, HR, SCM, Projects, Procurement and Inhouse applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle applications and custom components.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries, reports, and programs.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and maintain technical design documents, user manuals, and change logs.
• Adhere to coding standards, security protocols, and Oracle best practices.
• Support system upgradesand testing cycles (UAT, SIT).
• Work closely with functional consultants and business users to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency.
