Job summary

Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Center for Water Informatics & Technology (WIT) seeks an Operations Associate to enhance day-to-day operations across grants, procurement, HR, budgeting, travel, and events. This role requires close coordination with internal departments, donors, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of operational activities and asset management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's (Hons) degree from a reputable HEC-recognised institute.
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage international, national, government, industry, and institutional projects and grants.
• Manage assets records, allocation, tracking, transfer and recovery processes.
• Procure and coordinate procurement and supply chain processes, vendor coordination, quotations, purchase requests, negotiation, pricing and delivery schedules.
• Support HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and compliance.
• Plan and coordinate local and international events (conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions).
• Provide administrative support for regular office operations (workspace allocation, moves, supplies).
• Assist with departmental/project budgets, expense tracking and financial documentation.
• Manage local and international travel arrangements (visa processing, air tickets, accommodation, transportation).
• Support other operational, administrative, and project tasks as assigned by supervisor/HoD.
