Job summary

Mimetic Machines is expanding its network of capture sites in Karachi and beyond. We seek a founding field-operations lead to identify workshops, negotiate terms, and run capture days on the ground with hands-on teams.

You will own site readiness, inventory, logistics, data QA, and payouts, reporting directly to the founders. Fluency in Urdu and English, comfort with hardware, and a proactive, hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Urdu and English required.
• 1–5 years in operations, logistics, marketplaces, or consulting or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable with hardware and hands-on field work.

• Source site partnerships with workshops, factories, and farms and close them.
• Prep each site: consent, payment terms, schedules, floor plans.
• Own the capture kits: inventory, charging, spares, logistics between sites.
• Run capture days: train workers on the capture kit, keep sessions on schedule, solve problems on the floor.
• Enforce the close-out: data offload, QA audit, payouts, site sign-off.
• Feed what breaks back to the team so it only breaks once.

We record skilled work at partner sites: workshops, factories, and farms. More than 50 sites are in our network today, and your job is to add the next ones and run everything behind them. This is a founding field-operations role, working directly with the founders.

Karachi is one of our core capture markets. Within months you should know its industrial areas better than anyone on the team: which workshops exist, who runs them, and what a fair day rate is.

• Fluent Urdu and English.
• Comfortable with hardware in your hands and dust on your shoes.
