Job summary

WADIC in Lahore is seeking a Social Media & Marketing ContentWriter for a full-time, onsite role on the night shift. You will craft engaging posts, captions, video scripts, and marketing copy in coordination with the Social Media Manager and Marketing Manager.

You will translate briefs and product updates into content for LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, blogs, emails, landing pages, and campaigns, ensuring a consistent brand voice across channels and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, English, CS, or related field.
• 1–3 years in social media or marketing content writing, preferably in tech.
• Excellent written English; ability to adapt tone between social and marketing formats.
• Good understanding of IT trends, software products, and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and social media platforms.
• Experience with scheduling and analytics tools (Meta, Buffer, Hootsuite, LinkedIn Analytics, GA) and email/content tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, WordPress).
• Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
• Ability to take briefs from two teams, manage priorities, and meet deadlines independently.
• Portfolio with social posts plus long-form content, email copy, and ad or landing page copy.
• Willingness to work night shifts onsite.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Social Media team to write and edit posts, captions, carousels, and short-video scripts.
• Prepare posts for scheduling and publishing; draft replies and flag sensitive items.
• Track trends, hashtags, and content ideas; share post performance and apply learnings.
• Write marketing content such as blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and press releases.
• Create email campaigns and webinar content; write ad copy and landing page copy.
• Apply SEO keywords; align content with product launches and campaigns.
• Track campaign results, run A/B tests, and report to management.
• Maintain a single brand voice across social and marketing content; repurpose assets.
• Work with designers/video editors; use AI tools to speed drafting and ensure originality.
• Deliver daily summaries of completed work and pending tasks to both teams.
