Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking Belarusian interpreters and translators in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work across healthcare, legal, education, immigration, and refugee services. Onsite positions include telephone, video interpreting, and translation roles with training and development opportunities.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in English language fields and an IELTS certificate (6.5 overall, 6.0 per subtest). NDA and surety bond agreements are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and at least one other language.
• Degree in an English language-related field (e.g., English Language, Literature, ELT or TESOL).
• IELTS certificate with overall 6.5 and minimum 6.0 in each subtest.
• Willingness to sign a surety bond and NDA.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services.
• Check non-English speakers’ understanding after each sentence.
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting.
• Deal with highly confidential information and liaise between service users and providers.
