Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking Bulgarian interpreters and translators for on-site roles in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Primary work includes interpreting in health care, legal, education, immigration and refugee services, with opportunities across public and private sectors.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Bulgarian, hold a relevant degree, and possess an IELTS certificate (6.5 overall, 6.0 per subtest). Positions require signing a surety bond and NDA.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Bulgarian
• IELTS certificate with overall 6.5 and minimum 6.0 in each subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, ENGLISH Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check non-English speakers’ understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider
