Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking Danish interpreters and translators to work onsite in Rawalpindi/Islamabad across healthcare, legal, educational and immigration settings.

Qualified candidates should have an IELTS band 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each skill, plus a degree in English-related studies. Training and development opportunities are offered along with confidential public service work.

Qualifications

• IELTS certificate with overall band score 6.5, minimum 6.0 in each subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, ELT or TESOL
• Must sign and agree to a surety bond
• Must sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider

Skills

Fluent in English

Education

BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, ELT or TESOL
