Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking Belarusian interpreters and translators in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work across healthcare, legal, education, immigration, and refugee services. Onsite positions include telephone, video interpreting, and translation roles with training and development opportunities.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in English language fields and an IELTS certificate (6.5 overall, 6.0 per subtest). NDA and surety bond agreements are required for employment.

We are currently recruiting for Belarusian interpreters and Translators based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the health care, Legal, Educational, Immigration & Refugee services etc.

The Job:

Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the 'target' language with 100% accuracy.

You will:

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider

Requirements:

• Fluent in English or another language
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification
• Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
• You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond.
• You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
