Job summary

OHDELA seeks a licensed online teacher to serve as the teacher of record for core subjects across grade levels. The role delivers live, standards-aligned instruction via web conferencing and monitors student progress with regular feedback.

Travel for state testing and student events is required a few times per year. Strong communication, reliability, and proficiency with educational technology are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Two years’ teaching experience preferred.
• Comfort in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Outlook).
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in core content areas and grades.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback/grades.
• Collaborate with the Principal to create and deliver Progress Reports.
• Travel annually to support face-to-face state testing and student events.
