Job Description
About the role:

This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day production operations on the assigned line or work center, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant manufacturing in line with SOPs and GMP/EHS standards. The position involves equipment operation and first-line maintenance, accurate documentation of batch processes, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and5S in the work area. The individual will proactively identify and elevate quality or safety issues, contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, and support performance tracking, line clearance, and changeover activities to meet production targets and quality standards.

Role responsibilities:
  • Ensure daily operational setup of assigned production line/work center, complying with SOPs and GMP/EHS standards.
  • Perform autonomous maintenance, including first-line troubleshooting and basic technical upkeep of equipment and ancillaries.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time batch records and GMP documentation in line with data integrity requirements.
  • Uphold5S standards and ensure cleanliness of equipment and work areas, including GMP‑compliant cleaning processes.
  • Report and elevate all quality and safety deviations, incidents, and near misses; conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
  • Participate in Tier‑1 meetings, monitor hourly KPIs, and support performance tracking at the line level.
  • Execute line clearance and product changeovers in line with the production plan.
  • Identify and drive improvements to reduce quality defects, breakdowns, and waste (hazardous and non‑hazardous).
  • Ensure full compliance with GMP, quality standards, and corporate/regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and carry out additional responsibilities as per business needs.
Candidate profile:
  • DAE (Diploma of associate Engineering)/Graduation
  • Technical understanding of Manufacturing and Packaging Equipment
  • 1‑2 years of experience
