Job summary
One Network in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a NOC Engineer for day-shift operations at Railway HQ. You will monitor routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and fiber links using NMS, perform first and second-level diagnostics, log incidents, and ensure SLA adherence across distributed networks.
The ideal candidate has a BSCS/BE and 1+ year experience in network operations, with hands-on skills in LAN/WAN/MPLS/VPN, troubleshooting, and collaboration with field teams.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in network operations, NOC support, or IT infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with network monitoring, routing, and switching.
- Experience diagnosing LAN/WAN/MPLS/VPN and fiber connectivity issues.
- Willingness for full-time day-shift on-site work at Railway HQ, Lahore.
Responsibilities
- Monitor routers, switches, firewalls, servers, CCTV, and fiber links using NMS.
- Log, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents to ensure SLA compliance.
- Perform first and second-level diagnostics across LAN/WAN/MPLS/VPN/fiber.
- Track performance metrics and environmental conditions (UPS/power).
- Coordinate with field operations to resolve bottlenecks and document events.
