Job summary

HR Ways is seeking a Tooling Engineer for a Lahore-based role with night shift and onsite requirements. You will design, develop, and optimize stamping, welding, and fabrication tooling for automotive applications, ensuring GD&T compliance and cross-functional collaboration with NA clients.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years in tooling design, strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks/Creo/CATIA/Fusion 360), and practical knowledge of dies, fixtures, and jig systems.

Qualifications

• DAE in Mechanical or Tool & Die Making or related degree.
• 2-4 years of tooling design/fabrication experience.
• Strong GD&T and ability to read drawings to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Stamping tooling design for automotive sheet-metal components and die blocks.
• Design welding fixtures, jigs, and gauges for assemblies and checks.
• Develop fixtures for large fabrications with attention to distortion, tolerances, and cycle time.
• Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T and stack-up analysis.
• Support fixture tryout, first-article inspection, and design revisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across North America for project needs.
