Job summary

Pintern is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Engineer to work onsite in Lahore, night shift, supporting North American automotive clients with cost data and quotes. You will use advanced Excel (XLOOKUP, PivotTables, INDEX/MATCH, macros) to build analyses, update the customer portal, and prepare forecasts with cross-functional teams.

This role offers a path in cost control within the automotive supply chain and requires strong English communication and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in engineering, data management, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the customer portal for quotes and data accuracy.
• Create and maintain Material Content Breakdown Forms (MCBFs) with weight, size, and specs.
• Use Excel (XLOOKUP, PivotTables, INDEX/MATCH, macros) to analyze data and perform cost analyses.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and project management to gather cost data and develop estimates.
• Monitor budgets, perform variance analysis, and forecast costs to identify overruns or savings.
• Update Excel-based reporting tools and implement best practices for data management.
