Job summary

LeadingEdge HR Solutions is seeking a motivated Freight Pricing Associate for a night shift in Karachi. The role focuses on rate management, cost analysis and client quotations within the freight forwarding sector.

You will negotiate with carriers, maintain pricing databases, and collaborate with overseas partners to ensure accurate, timely proposals while identifying pricing efficiencies to boost profitability.

Qualifications

Masters degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
3+ years of proven experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with freight pricing tools or systems.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, night-shift environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain competitive freight pricing based on carrier rates and market trends.
Coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely quotations.
Analyse shipment costs and identify pricing efficiencies.
Maintain pricing databases and support client proposals.
Communicate effectively with overseas partners and ensure high-quality service standards.
Contribute to business development by identifying new sales opportunities and upselling/cross-selling services to existing clients.
